LavaLock® DurOG™ Wire Mesh RETRO-FIT Fiberglass Gasket Replacement for Kamado Joe Classic by LavaLock®
7.5 feet long. Includes LavaLock red adhesive.
FITMENT: THIS IS A RETRO FIT KIT. It will bring any KJ prior to 2017 up to date. Includes 7.5 ft of gasket, which is the correct length to cover either the lid or the base. It is the correct thickness to replace the felt gasket that is on the lid and base.
Also fits all KJ PRE 2017 models that have the old style mesh clip gasket only. But this kit will replace only ONE of the lengths (top or bottom gasket) It doesn't not require a double gasket as this gasket is thicker than the original felt.
This braided mesh gasket also fits Big Green Egg sm, med, lg, xl & Chargriller Acorn Kamado.

(also fits Char-griller Acorn Kamado)

It creates a high temperature thermal seal, even under high-heat conditions and are rated for 1,000 F degrees! Not to mention its a fraction of the price.
Our gaskets provide a protective barrier where the dome meets the grill and creating a seal that helps minimize heat & smoke loss.
