14.5 WSM Gasket KitReceived 14.5 Weber WSM Gasket Kit and installed it. was relative easy to install, took about 2 hours what with smoker prep. Tried it out yesterday and the only smoke I had coming out of smoker was out the top vent. It seemed like the temp was a lot easier to control, now if the kit holds up I will be a happy camper.

Works greatPurchased this for a brand new WSM 22. Sticking with the stock Weber door and using gasket. Had to gently add a bit of curve to door first, then applied gasket which performs as expected. Also added gasket around lip of smoker body, let cure for 24 hours and began seasoning. No leaks except for the small section where the door latch is and only a small amount escapes there.
Personal preference whether to go with the door upgrade or go with gasket, but since I was already going to do gasket around lip, went with door gasket as well. Pleased with result, I can recommend.Posted on
